Besides the awesome mapping tool at http://heywhatsthat.com, Ubiquiti Networks recently updated their AirLink software to handle areal LOS as well as Point to Point links. It can handle antennas up to 176 meters above the ground and supports the characteristics of different radio frequencies, including 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5 GHz.
